Toy Story

Halo 3 is the third game in the Xbox science fiction franchise. The UK adverts for it features beautiful hand crafted figures by Weta Workshop, the same guys who created the costumes and equipment for all three Lord of the Rings movies.

Rather than focusing on the typical graphics or gameplay elements to the game, it’s instead using a huge model set to look at the themes and multiple storylines. I bet G-I Joe is quaking in his boots.

Watch in Disguise

image

To celebrate the epic new Transformers Movie that is being released later this week and with a little help from mutual studio Transformers fans take a look at this mega 80’s transforming watch. The robot detaches and if almost by magic transforms into a free standing robot. You can buy newer versions of this watch now but not a patch on the retro version.  For all of you that don’t remember heres a little sound bite to jog your memory.

Productivity Alert!

image

Tetris Tower 3D has sprung fully-formed into our world from a pile of recycled motherboards. Buy this game and three things may happen:

- You’ll wonder what happened to July
- You’ll start confusing computer games with reality
- Once again you’ll dream about those falling blocks and that music.

The Dainippon Type Organization has created a neat wooden block toy for mini Mienigers, diddy Didots and baby Baskervilles. Called Toypography the english word can be reformed to Japanese expressions of the same meaning. Or you can just muck about.(via the rather excellent Everyone Forever)
