This much parodied (most notably in The Simpsons) and plagiarized film by Ray and Charles Eames was originally made for IBM in 1977. Even in this day and age of sophisticated CGI this film is impressively crafted and still inspiring nearly 30 years on. Link

Filmed in 1976 by French director Claude Lelouch this compulsive short film is an adrenaline-fueled drive through Parisian streets that is regarded as the ultimate in chase scenes. Debate and rumour still rumbles on as to the how this was filmed but it is generally accepted that Lelouch mounted a gyro stabilized camera to the front of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 driver, race though the streets of Paris early one morning, with no permit or road-blocks, hitting close to 140mph.
