Viral
London’s ICA will host what they claim to be the world’s first viral email exhibition – Outrageous and Contagious from 1st to 8th May. It’s produced in association with Channel 4’s IDEASFACTORY, viral site Bore Me, digital agency Ralph and viral promoter Hot Cherry. There will also be a “Viral Summit” on 5th May – hopefully the top creatives invited will be able to hammer something out. Now wash your hands.

I’ve wanted to post this since buying a friend the book for Christmas. Now David’s broken the taboo I think it’s safe to share…
L.A. based designer, Bodhi Oser, had no big idea other than he thought it might be funny to print out different sized ‘FUCK’ stickers and take photos of the signs he defaced. He was right. And by offering free templates and selling sticker packs on the website he has garnered enough photos for a book and the acclaim of fuckers everwhere. Link.

Only a week or so ago 30gms reported on Dorian Lynskey’s History of 20th century music interpretation of the London tube map. It must be open season on Harry Beck’s masterpiece because BoingBoing have a link to a PDF of a missed fundraising opportunity for TfL. Stations have been re-branded with high street sponsorship by Paul Speller to transform the commonplace to the curious. I suspect that Paul’s tongue is firmly in his cheek but perhaps this is a portent of things to come - it’s not unusual to see big ad campaigns take over entire tube stations. How long before ‘Mind The Gap’ has a backing track from Missy Elliott and Madonna? Link.
