V&A – Village Fete 2006

You have one minute and you can’t take your pen off the paper!

Scarlet Projects have once again asked Fibre to exhibit in this years V&A Village Fete at the Victoria & Albert Museum, a contemporary twist on the traditional English fete. This year Fibre’s stall will consist of a drawing competition where punters will have two minutes to draw Queen Victoria. The best-of-show (the decision of our eminent panel of judges ((us)) is final) will receive a “creative hamper” brimming to the top with crayons, pencils, paints and pens to enable your creative juices to flow.

Amongst the other 30 stalls this year you will be able to play Ping Pong with People Will Always Need Plates, do a farm dance with Rob Ryan, eat fish and chips with Alexandre Bettler, etch-a-sketch with Simon Kinnear, make freaky vegetables at Peepshow’s greengrocer’s stall, do a body painting with Thomas Matthews, and tuck into Turnbull Grey’s tuck shop.

Friday Late will see the V&A’s Pirelli Gardens full to bursting with London’s creative hipster crowd. Bring your family on Saturday afternoon to have your face painted and enter your kids in the Dress as a Design Icon fancy dress competition.

See you there…

Friday Late 28th July – 18:30-22:00
Saturday 29th July – 13:00-17:00
