Trompe L’Oeil is Not a Place in Paris
Some people take photos of a landmark; some people just buy the souvenir. Michael Hughes buys the souvenir and then takes photos of the souvenir in front of the landmark. Confused? See his growing Flickr set. It also reminded me of the great Parking Spots. (via JPG magazine)

hate to be a bubble burster, but the famous photographer, kenneth josephson, spent a significant portion doing exactly this as well as less obvious monuments:
