Pixel Meltdown

Not only is Kris Moyes the brother of Kim Moyes of the acclaimed Australian band The Presets, he also manned the helm of their newest video for “Are You The One?” A tour-de-force of postmodern recursions and pixelated meltdowns, this video boasts a breathtaking array of experiments in filmmaking and animation.

Take for instance the digi-beta compression that eats through scenes as a some kind of virus. While it has a vintage feel to it, such digital artifacting never existed in the 80s. This Is Kris Moyes’ second music video and he appears to be off to an amazing start, with what has to be one of the best videos if the year. Watch the video here.
