Fans of sci-fi/Cold War architecture/Stanley Kubrick/obscure analogue buttons and dials will enjoy these beautiful photos from Inverkip Power Station in Glasgow. Not active since 1988 sadly plans are now underway for the dismantling of the plant, although no decision has been reached as to a subsequent use for the site - perhaps a possible location for sci-fi films or Kraftwerk music video?

It is not in Glasgow. It is located in the town of Inverkip, close to Greenock. Hence the name Inverkip Power Station. Glasgow is about 35 miles away.
