Fred Eerdekens

Belgian artist Fred Eerdekens is best known for his acclaimed work using light and shadow, which he has been producing for almost fifteen years. These works employ the focused beams of theatre lights trained on a range of carefully manipulated materials to create beautiful poectic typographical shadows & projections on the surrounding walls and floor. Fred is just amazing.  He was in a bad car accident about 18 mos ago.  Is still in the hospital.  He is one of the nicest people in the world.  Cant imagine why this happens to good people.  It is just a big loss to the art world.
