Cardboard Sculptures

Whilst doing a bit of research into model cars made from cardboard, I came across artist called Chris Gilmour. He takes objects from everyday life and translates them into life-sized sculptures, made from only re-cycled cardboard and glue.

It great to see that he has taken full use of the beautiful aesthetics and the properties of cardboard.

I am stunned at how intricate his sculptures are, just check out the level of detail of the bike chain! The fine detail adds to the feeling that they function just as well as the real life object.
